Sunset Boulevard at the St. James Theatre, Broadway — Review
Nicole Scherzinger is a revelation as Norma Desmond — Andrew Lloyd Webber's revival on Broadway is a breathtaking fusion of cinematic grandeur and raw theatrical intensity.
Andrew Lloyd Webber's Sunset Boulevard has returned to Broadway in a bold, electrifying revival that dazzles from start to finish. With a star-studded cast led by the sensational Nicole Scherzinger as Norma Desmond, this production delivers a breathtaking fusion of cinematic grandeur and raw theatrical intensity.
Scherzinger is a revelation — the role seems written for her voice, her presence, her extraordinary capacity for emotional exposure. Her "As If We Never Said Goodbye" stopped the show completely. The production design is stunning, and the supporting cast match her every step.
The finest production of Sunset Boulevard in decades. A triumph.
