JAMES TRICKEY RETURNS TO EDINBURGH FESTIVAL FRINGE WITH A VENGEANCE

Following last year’s sold-out and critically acclaimed debut hour Don’t Count on Me, James Trickey returns to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe with a vengeance - and a brand-new hour - in an attempt to fill his boots with as much as you'll give him. On the last day of his 2025 Fringe debut run, a fire alarm stopped the show, and James' audience cheered him on as he went to finish his hour outside in the Pleasance courtyard. His last-minute entry into the Spirit of the Fringe award turned into every comedian's nightmare as a stranger punched him in the face in the middle of a routine. Join James back in the Pleasance at 9.25pm from 5th – 30th August to see whether the chartered accountant by day, funny man by night has taken on more than he bargained for. On-screen, he recently featured in an episode of Funny Parts (BBC). On stage, he has performed across the UK and at numerous festivals, and as tour support for Stevie Martin and Sam Nicoresti. James garnered a Chortle Student Comedy Award nomination in 2018, followed by a Best New Show nomination at the Leicester Comedy Festival in 2024. He won the Leicester Square Sketch Off Competition in 2024 with sketch partner Ted Milligan.
