Agents! Grab your briefcases and head down to the Fortune Theatre. The new cast has taken to the stage for the 15th West End extension of Operation Mincemeat. Inspired by the true story of the MI5 plot to use a dead body planted off the coast of Spain to deceive the Nazis about the D-Day landings, this brilliantly inventive musical manages to be simultaneously hilarious, touching and genuinely tense.

The new cast brings fresh energy to material that remains razor-sharp. The show's genius is in its theatrical self-awareness — performers playing actors playing spies, the mechanics of storytelling constantly on display. The songs are excellent, the staging inventive and the cast perform with extraordinary commitment.

Still unmissable. Perhaps more so with every extension.
