Today, Good Morning Britain launched the show's award-winning 1 Million Minutes campaign for the tenth year, aiming to help tackle loneliness in the UK. Susanna Reid and Ed Balls announced the return of the annual campaign live on the show, alongside This Morning presenter Ben Shephard, who helped launch the initiative a decade ago.

The campaign encourages people across the UK to donate their time to lonely and isolated people. Each minute pledged counts towards the overall goal of reaching one million minutes of donated time.

Now in its tenth year, the campaign has raised awareness of the growing loneliness epidemic in the UK and connected thousands of people with volunteers willing to give their time.
