It's the holiday season, which means many things — but in the theatre world, it means one thing: panto season! Potted Panto is now officially open at Wilton's Music Hall in London's historic East End. True to the Potted series' format, this is the entirety of pantomime tradition compressed into a gloriously silly, high-speed, interactive hour.
The writing is sharp, the performances committed and wonderfully physical, and Wilton's extraordinary Victorian interior makes for an atmospheric backdrop to the mayhem. A perfect family Christmas treat in one of London's most magical venues.
