Michael Marouli, Blu Hydrangea, Vanity Milan and ten other drag favourites will share the role of The Giant in TuckShop’s sixth annual all-drag pantomime.

TuckShop, the UK’s only specialist production company devoted to all things drag, has announced the twelve performers who will take on the role of The Giant in its sixth annual all-drag pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk.

The outrageous adult pantomime will run at the Emerald Theatre in London from Wednesday 2 December 2026 until Sunday 10 January 2027, marking TuckShop’s longest pantomime run to date. A press performance will take place on Wednesday 9 December.

The role of The Giant will be shared by a rotating line-up of some of the biggest names in drag, including Black Peppa, Blu Hydrangea, Blu Romantic, Choriza May, HERR, KY Kelly, Michael Marouli, Mocha, Nyongbella, Tayris Mongardi, Tiana Biscuit and Vanity Milan.

The announcement brings together performers from across the world of drag, with the cast including stars of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, RuPaul’s Drag Race: UK vs. the World, Drag Race Down Under vs. the World, Canada’s Drag Race and The Great British Bake Off, alongside performers with extensive West End and touring credits.

Among them is Michael Marouli, the recent winner of Drag Race Down Under vs. the World, while Blu Hydrangea, winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race: UK vs. the World, will also step into the giant’s boots.

Other performers sharing the role include Black Peppa, a finalist from RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Series 4; Choriza May, known for RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Series 3 and productions including Snow White & the Seven Drag Queens and Sinderella; and Vanity Milan, a finalist from RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Series 3 and contestant on Canada’s Drag Race: Canada vs. the World.

“Full of beans”

TuckShop promises a very different take on the traditional pantomime, describing Jack and the Beanstalk as a “raucous, chaotic” retelling of the familiar story.

The production follows Jack, whose best friend is a cow, as he decides to sell him in exchange for some mysterious beans.

TuckShop describes the production as “rude, crude and not for prudes”, with the show aimed firmly at an adult audience rather than children.

The production comes from the team behind The Diana Mixtape, Death Drop, Cool Rider and Gals Aloud.

Jack and the Beanstalk is written by Kate Butch, Crudi Dench and Eleanor Mason, with choreography by Taz Hoesli, production management by Production Solutions Group, associate direction by Frazer Meakin, and direction and creation by Christopher D. Clegg. The production is produced by TuckShop.
